The lecture revealed the basic principles of GRID communities and focused on practical possibilities of running various applications on displaced host computer clusters (named sites) through automatic sharing mechanism. During the lecture, the structure was explained and presented an example on SEE-GRID - South Eastern European Grid-enabled eInfrasturcture Development and EGEE. In the afternoon sesions, a new SEE-GRID site AEGIS03-ELEF-LEDA was installed, configured and tested. |
